Bailey is a local girlie who found me online when searching for wedding day vendors. I am on a preferred vendor list with several venues and I just happen to be on that list with Cedarmont. So after looking over the list, Bailey reached out to several people and ended up booking with us. We set up a day to trial and got down to the details of what kind of hair and makeup she loved and what she envisioned for her wedding day.
Products used
Mario Badescu rose water toner, colourpop dope taupe brows, p.louise no1 base on lids carving brows and a little to the nose and outer edges too, colourpop bare necessities on eyes (warm brown in crease, tiny bit of medium brown on outer corners but mainly orange), Sydney Grace gold on lids with ABH rose gold next to it, carved out with concealer for the wing shape, Nars radiant longwear foundation in Punjab (but may color match again with spray tan), elf hydrating camo concealer in light ivory under eyes and carved out for liner too, laura mercier setting powder, colourpop darker bronzer, nars orgasm x blush, colourpop middle highlighter (gotta go back and find the names of the bronzer and highlighter), Urban Decay brown liner with a smudged out liner, orange and med brown under lash line, mascara on top and bottom, Ardell 420 cut half way, NYX cappuccino liner (may go less brown), with Maybelline topaz gloss
For Bailey's hair, I curled all of it with a curling iron, kept out tiny bit from sides and top and pinned the rest into French twist, left it hanging and pinned both sides first, pinned the bulk piece into bun, then used pins with elastic to secure teased front section, pinned the rest randomly and left out tendrils, will place comb on bottom side. Those were my notes from the trial so then I could go back and read it and refresh my memory come wedding day. Bailey was torn between this modern french twist or a low bun. You'll see at the bottom which one she chose :-)
Bailey chose to do a pink/mauve eye look instead of the bronze/orange look from the trial. And I really appreciate any and all feedback from my brides. Sometimes we don't know what we like until it's translated on our own faces/heads. And I'd like you to be my kind of client and tell me what you love and/or hate about it all. It only helps me grow as an artist.
Here are the faces and heads I did on the wedding day. I had Lecia assisting me as well.
