Kayla and Phil have been living in the Nashville area for 7 years now and met on Bumble. It's one of the few dating apps I've actually heard quite a few success stories from. She reached out to me when she decided to include hair and makeup in her wedding budget, so I'm glad we connected and got to chatting about the look she really wanted. Below is the makeup products I used in case anyone is interested.
Products used:
Temptu perfect canvas airbrush in no6 (she may be darker from spray tan), Elf hydrating camo concealer in Fair Rose and Medium Peach mixed, ABH translucent powder, Sephora neutral mocha bronzer, Morphe blush, ABH x Amrezy highlight, ColourPop brow pencil in Bangin Brunette with Dope Taupe in the front, ColourPop Bare Necessities palette on the eyes, Benefit Cookie highlighter on inner corners of the eyes, Elf glitter topper in Flirty Birdy and Copper Pop on top, KVD super pomade in Graphite for liner and all along bottom too, Essence mascara, Kiss Little Black Dress lashes, and ColourPop lip liner in BFF2 topped with Huda Beauty matte lipstick in Staycation also topped with clear gloss
For hair, Kayla mentioned wanting a low bun but was open to my interpretation of it. She did want it slightly pinned to the right, but she wanted to experiment with the rest. After the trial run, Kayla let me know that she preferred her hair swept all back instead of having a distinct part. So we adjusted that on the wedding day as well as not having as many tendrils hanging free from the bun.
We got ready at Kayla's apartment and then they all went to the venue for photos. Here are some before-and-after pics I took of the hair and makeup I did that day. Jordan worked with me and she did others.
Venue: Riverwood Mansion
Photography: John Myers Photography
Hair and Makeup: Declan and Mae (that's me!)
Congrats to Kayla and Phil and my team and I appreciate you reaching out for your wedding day hair and makeup needs. We had a blast!!
