I am listed as a preferred wedding vendor at several venues. So when a client asks for recommendations, they hand them the list and several will be listed in each category so they can pick and choose. Firefly Lane has a preferred list and I'm pretty sure that's how Makensie found me. So she reached out and we got to chatting about her hair and makeup needs. We set up a trial run and that information is below.
Products used:
Mac strobe cream underneath, Nars radiant longwear foundation in Punjab, Elf hydrating camo concealer in light peach, ABH translucent powder, Benefit Hoola bronzer, Morphe blush palette (likes a lot), Benefit Cookie highlight (likes a lot on cheeks, above brows, nose and cupids bow), ColourPop brow pencil in Champagne Blonde (likes a high arch and lower color underneath the starting side but buffed out), Bare Nexessities palette on the eyes (med brown and warm brown in crease, vanilla shimmer on lids, dark brown at top on outer corners), dark brown shadow liner, mascara, Ardell 421 lashes, Elf flirty Birdy glitter topper, and ColourPop lip liner in BFF2 topped with (darker creams, left middle color) in center
And for her hair, she requested the most romantic braid I could achieve. I've done braids long enough that I knew she didn't have enough hair to look like those Pinterest-worthy styles, but I did it anyway so that she could see what shew as lacking. So on the wedding day, she came ready with extensions and it made a HUGE difference. If your'e a bride ever wondering if you need extentions, JUST DO IT!! :-)
Here are the wedding day pics I took of hair and makeup. And Katie assisted that day, so she glammed up the other ladies you don't see here but are in wedding photos.
Venue: The chapel at Firefly Lane

I got some wedding photos back from the photographer (I was WAY behind on requesting anything) and I'm so happy she sent some over! Congrats to Makensie and Josephe!!!
